Niels Fieremans

 


Niels Fieremans (°1997) studied History at Ghent University (summa cum laude, 2019), where he specialized in the late Middle Ages. For his master thesis (Give and Ye Shall Receive? De informele macht van giften voor de Gentse politieke elite), he obtained the Ghent Historical Research Prize.

He is currently preparing a Joint PhD (UGent-VUB) on litigation strategies and the law of commerce in late medieval Bruges, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jan Dumolyn (UGent) and Prof. Dr. Dave de ruysscher (VUB).
