Max Van den Bosch

Max Van Den Bosch is currently in his Master of Laws at the VUB, with a specialisation in Public Law. Under the guidance of professor Frederik Dhondt, he is working as a student-researcher about Constitutional law during the Belle Epoque. More specifically, Max is interested in fundamental rights during that period, especially freedom of speech and freedom of the press, in Belgium and in France. This is connected to his master thesis, in which he wants to discuss the same freedoms, but in a contemporary context where a transformed public sphere and the emergence of online media create new challenges for democracy.
